BrokenRail is a hard rock band from Birmingham, Alabama. The band just released their self-titled EP in November of 2016. The band has four members including Blake Clawson on vocals, Nelson Rezek on guitar, Dick Black on bass and Alex Hilton on drums. The band's first release was Welcome To The Escape in 2010 and they released an EP called Never the Same in 2011. On Friday, September 9, AC/DC hit up Michigan again when they took the stage at the Palace of Auburn Hills. Mike Lewalski attended the show.
He had this to say about the show, "The AC/DC portion of the concert lasted 2 1/2 hours and featured Axl Rose on vocals. On Friday, September 16, Mount Clemen's own Critical Bill celebrated their fifteenth year as a band with a show in Chesterfield at Diesel Concert Lounge. The evening featured a number of bands on the venue's two stages, all of whom Critical Bill has shared the stage with over the years.

Thursday, September 15, found Kenny Olson making his long-awaited return to a Michigan stage alongside a host of All-Star musicians in his "Motown Showdown" collaboration. The show was two years in the making and had a hometown reunion feel to it as many friends and family members of the group packed into the Westland venue.

Arts Beats & Eats returned to downtown Royal Oak Labor Day weekend with four days filled with great local and national music, lots of local food choices, carnival rides and booths filled with some of the area's best art.
On Friday, September 2, Buckcherry headlined the main stage alongside Joan Jett & The Blackhearts and opener Stewart Francke. The loud rock show was blessed with some beautiful weather and a very packed crowd.

On Wednesday, August 31, Black Sabbath returned to MIchigan one more time on their The End Tour. The band, along with opener Rival Sons, took to the stage at DTE Energy Music Theatre in Clarkston.

On Sunday, August 21, Korn and Rob Zombie brought their Return of the Dreads tour to DTE Energy Music Theatre. In This Moment opened the show.
Mike Lewalski attended the show and had this to say: "The show was excellent. I just wish the bands would play longer than 1 hour and 10 minutes each. Give us an hour and a half. On Friday, August 12, Bret Michaels closed out WCSX's concert series Rocking On The Riverfront down on the riverfront in Detroit.
Michael Lewalski attended the show and had this to say, "He played for an hour and 15 minutes. It was a decent show. I'm not a huge Poison fan, however, he still sounds just like he used to. I am sure a reunion will not be far off!"
